CMV:Having a disadvantaged upbringing in terms of abuse or just poverty leads to a severe disadvantage at near all later parts of life.
You're right in some respects but if you manage to overcome then you have a major advantage in some workplace situations: chaos management.
I can't tell you how often my coworkers will have trouble dealing with the changes, unknowns, and chaos that sometimes takes place, stressing out over them and reducing thier effectiveness while I just sit there happy as a clam knowing I'm going to go home and eat a good meal with my wife once I get it all sorted out and leave.
would you say then that if you are able to overcome the obstacles and still get into a strong life position that you are better off if not the same?
I can say for certain I am in a very strong position, but I am behind from playing a bit of catch up to get up to where others that were middle class with a better home life are, but I'm noticed for promotions and raises quicker
And I do want to stress that it's a big if, and I had a very good role model to help me despite everything else
